Were there mostly male two-spirits or female two-spirits? I really like the music you used! It really set the tone for Native American cultural atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteI loved how you told the story from an outside looking in perspective. It was very well done and caught my attention very quickly. The one question I have been thinking about is, are there similarities between two-spirits in native american cultures, and hijras?
ReplyDeleteYour music really caught my attention, especially at the beginning. Your story flowed really well too, I always wanted to read what was coming next. Do you think anyone in the society ever questioned their ways of being with the same sex? Or do you think young kids just learned that that was the way it was and never gave it any second thoughts?
ReplyDeleteI really liked your story line; I thought that was nicely done. I agree with Lindsey when she says that it has nice flow. I wonder how this came about? I wonder what the story behind the idea of two-spirits is?
ReplyDeleteWatching your video reminds me of a text that we read at the beginning of the semester. Do you think that two- spirits would perform the rituals in which there would be a "genderless" person to lead the natives? I think it's interesting that, in comparison to Indian culture, two- spirits are accepted by their communities and revered.
