  1. Great video! I thought the theme was perfect for the topic and worked well with transitions and such. I thought the most interesting thing was that it seemed as though Bowie's alter ego was what really got him famous. It makes me wonder if that's just because of the controversial aspect of who and what his alter ego is and represents. A question I have is, since Bowie's creation of "Glam Rock," what other artists and people have used and even further developed the concept and did it enhance their careers as much?

    1. Thanks! David Bowie really took off after performing as Ziggy Stardust, not that that is his defining period of music at this point in time for everybody. When Bowie first performed as Ziggy, the ideas of Glam Rock and the androgyny that came with it were still relatively new, so there was a sort of controversial view on him, which brought him into view, but it was also his music that fans enjoyed. I would definitely say that his image brought him to fame at the time, but his music is what has lasted.
Other Glam Rockers include artists like Lou Reed and Alice Cooper. There are other acts who had some aspects of glam, but didn't completely fit that genre such as Elton John and Queen.
